Abstract

The learning outcomes of IV in MI Al-Jamiatul Husna, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency, regarding Environmental Change, students experience learning difficulties. The Inquiry strategy is a series of learning activities that maximally engage all abilities so that students can formulate their own findings. The teacher acts as a facilitator. This study aims to determine: Learning outcomes before, after, and after the application of the Inquiry learning strategy in science lessons on Environmental Change in IV students. This type of research is CAR with 13 students as research subjects (1). The average learning outcome before the intervention was 49.54%, and 30.77% or 4 students completed the task. (2) student learning outcomes after the application of the Inquiry Strategy in cycle I, the average value was 66.54% of students who completed 53.85% or 7 students. (3) learning outcomes in cycle II, the average value increased to 77.92% of students who completed 84.62% or 11 students. It was concluded that the Inquiry strategy can improve student learning outcomes in the Natural Sciences subject on Environmental Change at MI Al-Jamiatul Husna, Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Academic Year 2023-2024.
